Why this tool exists

Variant files are compact and difficult to review directly. This tool turns a VCF into a ranked report with ClinVar matches, conflict flags, and export files that are easier to inspect.

Portfolio project

This web app is part of the Variant Review Workbench portfolio project and shares the same pipeline as the CLI.

Output

Each run produces a report preview plus HTML, JSON, Markdown, summary, and metadata files.

What feedback is useful

  • Whether the upload and run steps are clear without extra explanation.
  • Whether the report output is easy to scan and understand.
  • Whether the labels, counts, and warnings are clear.
  • Whether the export choices match what you would expect to download.
  • Any confusing wording, missing information, or unnecessary steps.
